Quick Steps

1. Come up with a project idea. If you don’t already have one, check out the Project Accelerator Discord channel and ask for ideas.
2. Find a team, do a preliminary project plan, and estimate the project cost.
3. Fill out this form: Project Proposal Form
4. NU Robotics will schedule a meeting with you about your project and help you with the next steps:
   1. Create a discord channel
   2. Recruit your first members, if you haven’t already
   3. Set up a meeting time and lab access
   4. Give advice and assistance from the Robotics Club.

If you have a brand new project idea you are willing to bring to life, the first step is to fill out and submit this document. Any supporting material must be sent to [email protected] with your name and your project’s name in the subject line.

  • NASA Sponsored robotics competition - This is a two-semester, virtual challenge, designed to educate college students in the application of the NASA Systems Engineering process that may culminate with the design and build of a prototype Lunar robot.
